State Land
I would walk along
fields that overflowed with patches of lalang where he used to play with the other children in the village. Children were tougher than children nowadays. So he taught me to admire the grass instead from the pavements – to be safe. I once cut myself when I tried to show him that he was wrong about children nowadays. But perhaps we still aren't as strong as the children back then. By Kevin Lam Fu Yuan QLRS Vol. 24 No. 2 Apr 2025_____
